bmpt坦克支援車採用了t-72主戰坦克底盤，可以有效對抗反坦克小組、低空飛機和直升機，主要用於協助坦克作戰，同時也可以完成維和與反恐等軍事任務。

該車最突出的特點就是炮塔上的武器系統具有的最優化結構，其超強的火力和超過某些現代主戰坦克的優異防護性能。該車裝備有雙管2a42型30毫米機關炮(彈藥基數900發)、1挺pktm型7.62毫米並列機槍(彈藥基數2000發)、2具遙控ag-17d型30毫米自動榴彈發射器(彈藥基數600發)和四聯裝“旋風”t反坦克導彈發射器。該型導彈可採用串聯式高爆反坦克戰鬥部(可擊毀安裝爆炸反應裝甲的800毫米厚的裝甲)、溫壓和破片戰鬥部等多種戰鬥部。新型反坦克導彈能夠摧毀現有及未來的任何主戰坦克、堅固掩體和低空飛行的直升機，射程可達5000米。自動火控系統配備了熱成像瞄準鏡，具備射擊和偵察能力。bmpt坦克支援車具有強大的火力、先進的防護性能和優良的機動性，能在各種地形環境中全天候、晝夜24小時持續執行作戰任務。

俄羅斯btr-t重型裝甲人員輸送車採用t-55坦克底盤，低矮外形的炮塔，裝1門2a42型30毫米機關炮和“競賽”m反坦克導彈系統。該車的武器系統能夠有效地打擊敵方人員、地面裝甲目標和低空飛行的空中目標。戰鬥室內設有5個舒適的座椅，載員通過車體頂部的兩個裝甲艙口進出車輛。btr-t重型裝甲人員輸送車的最大速度為50千米/小時，並能搭載步兵在核生化環境中閉窗作戰，有效地摧毀目標。
